Creating photo-realism is often about understanding the subtleties of the real world. The above image shows one such example of this. Produced as part of our marketing material we created a coke bottle that was so realistic everyone we showed it to had real difficulty in believing it was computer generated.
The bottle was modelled and textured right down to the tiny droplets of liquid which stick to the inside of the bottle. Modelling an object everyone is familiar is in many ways more challenging, however even when placed side by side with a photograph of the real thing our clients still often don't pick out which one is genuine.
