The Printworks

The Printworks is a buzzing, state of the art entertainment complex located in the heart of Manchester. Refurbished as Europe's first urban leisure and entertainments complex, it took £150million to renovate and covers some 350,000 square feet of floor space. The Printworks and its surrounding area is one of the most popular night spots in the Manchester's city centre. 

Located in 'The Millenium Quarter' (so-called following the rebuild after the 1996 IRA bombing destroyed many original buildings) an area which is now full of pubs, bars, restaurants and designer shops. The main attraction is 'The Printworks' itself, a converted newspaper printers packed with an exciting mixture of restaurants, large chain bars and massive night clubs alongside a health complex and Odeon's 22 screen cinema development; home to The Gallery - a luxury digital film-viewing experience; and IMAX  , the ultimate cinematic experience exclusive to the Odeon Manchester, offering a gigantic screen 26 metres high and 23 metres wide. 

The Printworks really does have something to offer both day and night, and with over 150,000 revellers visiting the complex each week, it's easily one of the most vibrant areas in Manchester.
