All of our content managed websites have built in document management.
The system allows you to upload any file type you wish. However we have put in place specific icons for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and PDF.
The info panel allows you to view the file size of the download, as well as to set access rights to specific user groups. This is really useful if you have a members areas and want to limit access to specific users.
We have recently added a 'used' tab to this info panel. This gives you a list of all the places on the site the document is linked from. This can be really useful if you want to delete a document and avoid 'dead links', or just want to see where it's currently being used.
